Dr Ganesh Gorthi is the head of the department at Continental Hospitals for gastrointestinal robotic surgery, robotic & laparoscopic bariatric surgery, and gastrointestinal surgeries. With over two and half decades of surgical experience in India, the UK, and the US, he is one of the best gastrointestinal surgeons in Hyderabad.Â
In addition to his experience & expertise in bariatric and gastrointestinal surgeries, he has also experience in vascular surgery and breast surgery.Â
An alumnus of the Guntur Medical College, he completed his MS in General Surgery before moving to the UK for higher studies. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK and secured a fellowship in bariatric surgery in UK. He also holds a fellowship in minimal access surgery & fellowship in robotic surgery in India, in addition to his fellowship at the American College of Surgeons.Â
Dr Ganesh’s areas of expertise include all types of robotic gastrointestinal procedures, bariatric surgeries, gastrointestinal procedures, and others. An avid learner, he is a regular at various national & international workshops and seminars.Â
