After completing MBBS from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College, he moved to the United Kingdom in 2005 for higher training. Completed MRCP (UK) from Royal College of Physicians, London, and underwent super-specialty training in Pulmonology across leading hospitals in Yorkshire and Manchester. Passed Specialty Certificate Exam ( SCE) in Respiratory Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians, London in 2013 and was awarded CCT. He practiced as a Consultant Pulmonologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, UK before returning to the home town of Hyderabad after spending 13 years in the United Kingdom.
He has expertise in COPD and Asthma. He also treats all respiratory conditions and sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea. Procedural competencies include bronchoscopy, Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), thoracic ultrasound, chest drains and Non-invasive ventilation(NIV).
He has experience in dealing with complex respiratory conditions in a tertiary center in the UK. He has done various audits and research works.
