IDCCM course is being conducted under the aegis of ISCCM (Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine), Mumbai at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad.
The sole aim of these training programs is to enhance the skills of care providers who are working in the field of Critical Care Medicine so that patient care can be standardized and good quality care can be provided to patients
This course is not recognized by Medical Council of India.
Admission Session & Duration: - January session / July Session & 1 year
Eligibility: -
- Diploma in Anaesthesia/Diploma in Chest diseases.
- MD Medicine/Chest/Anaesthesia
- DNB Medicine/Chest/Anaesthesia
- MD/DNB Emergency Medicine
- CTCCM
- MRCEM-If approved by the Medical Council of India
- FCPS Medicine
- The base qualifications must be from MCI recognized university.
- MD Emergency Medicine, if approved by MCI would be eligible for IDCCM
In case of any controversy regarding the eligibility, decision by the ISCCM executive committee in this regard will be final & binding.
Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) is one year for FCPS Medicine candidates (w.e.f January 2020 registrations).

Selection Process: Interview based
Candidates will be paid stipend as per norms of the institute. Once selected, it is mandatory for the trainee to become ISCCM Life member. The trainee must register with ISCCM by filling online trainee registration form and membership form which includes the registration & examination fee for the first attempt.
