Dr Amol R Jadhav

Dr Amol R Jadhav is the Sr Consultant for Liver Transplants, HPB, and Surgical Gastroenterology. He comes with extensive experience in Hepato-pancreaticobiliary (HPB) surgery and liver transplantation. Trained at some of India’s most prestigious institutes, Dr Jadhav is an expert in complex, high-risk liver conditions and minimally invasive liver & HPB procedures.

He completed his MBBS from BJ Medical College, Pune, followed by an MS in General Surgery from GMC Surat. Early in his career, Dr Amol gained strong exposure to surgical oncology at Government Cancer Hospital, Aurangabad, with training under visiting consultants from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. This foundation strengthened his approach to cancer-related liver and gastrointestinal surgeries.

Dr Amol pursued advanced fellowships in HPB surgery at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai, and liver transplantation at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurgaon, one of India’s busiest liver transplant centers. During this period, he assisted and actively participated in hundreds of liver transplants and complex hepatobiliary procedures, managing patients with acute liver failure, chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, liver cancers, and post-transplant complications.

His expertise extends to adult and pediatric liver transplantation, including rare and technically challenging cases such as pediatric cadaveric transplants and living donor transplants in complex anatomical conditions. Known for his calm decision-making and patient-first approach, Dr Amol emphasizes ethical care, transparent communication, and long-term outcomes.

Today, he is recognized for delivering safe, advanced liver care with a focus on precision surgery, multidisciplinary coordination, and compassionate patient support.
