Dr Kavitha Chintala

Dr Kavitha Chintala, MD, FAAP, FACC, FASE, is one of India’s most accomplished American Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiologists and is currently practicing at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad. With over two decades of international and national expertise, she has served as a senior consultant across top medical institutions in the United States and India. 

She specializes in comprehensive cardiac care for children — from newborns to young adults — including diagnosis, management, and interventional procedures for congenital and acquired heart diseases. Her advanced expertise spans fetal echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography, pediatric cardiac ICU care, interventional cardiology, and complex congenital heart condition management.

Before relocating to India, Dr. Chintala practiced for several years in the USA at reputed hospitals including Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Henry Ford Hospital, St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital, and Crittenton Medical Center, and she served as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Division of Cardiology) at Wayne State University, Detroit.
