She completed her MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Osmania Medical College, followed by an M.Ch in Urology from IKDRC, Ahmedabad, one of the premier institutes for urology and transplant surgery in India.

With specialized training in endourology and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, Dr. Spurthi is proficient in performing complex kidney and urinary tract surgeries with precision and improved patient outcomes. Her expertise includes renal transplant procedures (adult and pediatric), prostate biopsies, and advanced laparoscopic renal surgeries, making her well-equipped to handle both routine and high-risk urological cases.

She has also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at IKDRC, where she contributed to clinical training, research, and patient care.
