Dr Vignesh Sayeerajan

Dr Vignesh Sayeerajan is an accomplished Consultant Neurosurgeon at Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, with more than a decade of expertise in advanced neurosurgical care. His focus areas include keyhole and minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, skull base procedures, and endoscopic-assisted neurosurgery.

After completing his MBBS from IRT Perundurai Medical College, Dr Vignesh pursued MS (General Surgery) at Stanley Medical College, Chennai, and MCh in Neurosurgery from the prestigious Madras Medical College, where he was awarded the S. Kalyanaraman Gold Medal (2018) for excellence in neurosurgery.

He underwent advanced fellowship training in Skull Base and Microvascular Neurosurgery (ACNS) in Nepal and completed a Fellowship in Endoscopic Neurosurgery from Jabalpur, India. Over his career, Dr Vignesh has worked at leading institutions such as MIOT International Hospitals, Chennai, and Apollo Hospitals, performing over 1,500 neurosurgical procedures with a strong emphasis on precision, safety, and functional preservation.

His special interests include keyhole and transnasal endoscopic surgeries, cerebrovascular and bypass procedures, pediatric neurosurgery, and minimally invasive spine surgeries. He is a reviewer for the Indian Journal of Neurosurgery, has co-authored a chapter in the textbook Endoscopic and Microsurgical Approaches to the Skull Base by Luis Borba et al., and has published several peer-reviewed articles.
