Dr Aswini Mallina

Dr Aswini Mallina is an accomplished Cardiac Anaesthesiologist with nearly a decade of clinical experience in anaesthesia, cardiac care, and perioperative patient management. Currently serving as a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesiologist at Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, she is known for her patient-focused approach and expertise in managing complex surgical cases.

She completed her MBBS and Diploma in Anaesthesiology (DA) from NRI Medical College, Guntur, where she graduated with distinction and emerged as the topper of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. She went on to pursue her DNB in Anaesthesiology at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad, followed by a DM in Cardiac Anaesthesia from the prestigious Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, Bangalore – one of India’s premier institutes for cardiovascular medicine.

Her expertise spans a wide spectrum of anaesthesia and critical care services, including cardiac anaesthesia for bypass surgeries, valve replacements, and paediatric cardiac procedures, general anaesthesia for major surgeries, perioperative care, and advanced life support. She also has hands-on expertise in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), a vital skill in modern cardiac anaesthesia practice.

Dr Aswini Mallina has presented her research at multiple state and national conferences, including a paper on “Preoperative Management of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy for LSCS” at the Warangal State Conference and has attended numerous national cardiac anaesthesia conferences.
