Dr. Pavan Kumar Jonnada

Dr. Pavan Kumar Jonnada is a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist with specialized expertise in colorectal, pelvic, gynecologic and peritoneal surface cancers. He holds an FEBS in Surgical Oncology and has completed his MCh in Surgical Oncology from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, along with an MS in General Surgery and MBBS.

His clinical practice focuses on the surgical management of complex cancers, particularly colorectal and rectal cancers, pelvic malignancies, gynecologic cancers and peritoneal surface malignancies. He has experience with robotic, laparoscopic and open oncologic procedures, with an emphasis on minimally invasive and organ-preserving approaches where clinically appropriate.

Dr. Jonnada's areas of subspecialty expertise include colorectal cancer surgery, rectal cancer surgery, pelvic oncology, gynecologic oncology and peritoneal surface oncology. His surgical expertise also includes Total Mesorectal Excision (TME), ELAPE, NOSE procedures, nerve-sparing pelvic surgery, robotic surgical oncology and minimally invasive esophageal surgery.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Jonnada is actively involved in cancer research, surgical education and multidisciplinary cancer care. His academic work includes peer-reviewed publications covering colorectal, pancreatic, gastric, breast and other cancers. He has also presented surgical techniques and research at international forums including ESGO/IGCS, SAGES, UGIRA and ESCP.
